Default Hard Bag vs: leather

I am wondering how much I can expect to pay for a set of used hard bags for my scout and I'm not even sure I should change, but this new paint pleases me so it seem even more would be good. I might be interested in a set of used bags and paint them the same color as the rest of the bike. Anyone know of a source in case I decide to?

I recently picked up some hard bags. Looked on EBAY and such and they were to expensive. Then I called a local shop that trikes bikes. Picked up a set for $400 with hardware.

If you're looking to get nice ones, no damage, with hardware, you can expect to pay $4-500. But shop Craig'slist, EBay, the classifieds here on the Forum. Sometimes you can catch some screamin' deals if it hits at the right time... Good Luck

PS, You might have some success in trading as well.

I got a set of bags no hardware for $200 on ebay. I actually bought the bags for a speaker and extension project I'm putting together. When I'm done I'll sell my other bags. There a set of 04 police bags with the hockey pucks replaced with chrome pop up latches.

i paid 80 buck a piece for mine knowing i'd put extensions on so the minor damage they came with was not a big deal. all said and done i was in about a Grand, extensions, body work, bags, hardware and paint.
