That's excellent. Leave it alone!

The next day my PC V arrived and I installed it...the gas mileage dropped a little down to 43.48 but still better than stock. I always top off at the same pump with the bike sitting at the same angle to reduce the chance of getting bad numbers. I've only run one tank through it with the PC V and I'm curious to see if I can improve on the previous tanks numbers. So far I'm very pleased with the results. Oh yeah, I'm still debating on getting the Jackpots or not. (still have the stock mufflers) I kinda like being able to (easily) hear the radio.

More likely a case of you finally getting the motor broke in than the difference between synthetic and dyno oil. It wasn't until I had 2500+ miles on my bike that she fully loosened up. At least, partially so...certainly a good synthetic will reduce friction levels some, but you're not going to get nearly 15% better fuel mileage from a change in oils.

PCIII on my 06 EGC. Just for grins checked it yesterday before I filled up. I don't by any means baby it and ran this tank with my tour pak on. Mileage basically NOT good at 36 mpg. Map is from Fuelmoto but the bike runs very very good so six in one, half dozen in the other I'd imagine. Going to watch the next tank and maybe ease off on the throttle a wee bit to see what happens. I may see if I can get a slightly tweaked map from Jaime.

It tunes itself, every ride you take it gets better. MPG ended up about 38-40 depending on right wrist factors.
I bought a PCV for my 09 for now but will probably go to the Thundermax once it comes out.

On a side note I have a pre 08 Tmax for sale.
If you already have the PCV, you can add the autotune modules for an extra $300 and the bike can be set up for whatever fuel ratio you want and the system will autotune to that setting. If you want your cruise rpms and cruise throttle settings to be at 14.2 to 1, you can set it for that and the trim adjustments will happen in short order (just a few miles). I've got the autotune on mine and it works great.
