txgeezer 5 year survivor bladder, prostate cancer, amazeing how it changes your attitude about life isn't it? Each day is a gift, thats why its called the PRESENT, enjoy it.
X2 here with Bladder Cancer survivor.
Need to talk or text on the phone with someone. Get off the road, Simple as that. I tend to give anyone including a Sheriff "The Bird".
Hey lets give our "Brother" The Benefit of the doubt, He was probably listening to one of those old portable radios.... LOL... Happy Trails All..... R.W.
Amazed at this in Thailand where we often holiday.
Delightful young Thai lasses riding down the road on their 125cc
with the cellphone to her ear, the dog with its feet on the handlebars and when it rains they hold the umbrella up too.
4 and 5 people on 125cc is common.
I was riding near my house the other day and stopped at a 5 way stop intersection. On my left there was a girl from our church who was riding a horse and stopped at the stop sign. She was sitting there texting! Don't think I had ever seen that before.
And I agree - each day, each minute is a gift and we should live that way. Be Blessed.

ON the way to work there is this really busy intersection and while I'm waiting for my turn I have been counting the number of people going by me on the phone it is absolutely amazing it has been averaging about 1 out of every 4 cars some one is on the phone ! and even the cops what did we ever do without the cell phone sure wish they would pass a law and enforce it

Distracted or reckless driving is already against the law. I don't think we need any more driving laws. The states that have laws against using a cell phone without a hands free headset have failed to show how that helps. It is the conversation that distracts a driver, not the hand holding their phone to their ear.
