Not sure what bulb they take............that's what I'm trying to find out now before I buy anything.

Don't know if a H3 is the same as a 880.

H3 and 880 are NOT the same. I am not sure if they are physically interchangeable, but the H3 is 55W and 880 is 27W. Daniel Stern describes the 880 as a "cosmetic toy" His site is a wealth of lighting info. danielsternlighting.com

That's why I need to figure out what bulbs these new passing lamp housing take.

I know the headlamp is an H4, but I have no idea what these passing lamps take.

The passing lamp comes with a GE 881L 12V H27W bulb which is replacable with Silverstar 880ST's. dchoran posted this thread awhile back.

If a regular H3 will work, these will put out the light.
