Default Need guide for San Francisco

We're going to San Francisco next week and was looking to see if someone wanted to take us on a ride through the red woods or where ever. We will have the bike first thing Friday, March 27th in the morning at Parc 55. Anyone want to meet up and ride?

I saw that, then nice the rest of the week. Not sure about next Friday though since that day isn't posted on weather.com yet.

Be careful of the Cable Car tracks. I almost dropped my bike several years back. I didn't go across them at an angle and got caught in the grove. One of motorcycleings many lessons that I have so far survived. Also, if you can still do it go down Lombard St, the crookedest road in the world. Visit Fisherman's Wharf.

As of this morning......rain late Sat. night into Sun. till about mid-day then clearing.

If I was going to be in the area I'd take you through the city......know it very well. Firsherman's Wharf, Lombard Street (advertised as the crookedest street in the world), Twin Peaks (yes, the same one in the TV show), Golden Gate Park, Golden Gate and on.

You don't say how long you're riding but the redwoods (Avenue of The Giants) is about four hours north on Hwy. 101. You've also got the Napa Valley about an hour northeast of the city.

What is "Parc 55"? Never heard of it. Are you sure it's not Pier 55.

By the way, most motorcycle rental places now offer a GPS for an additional fee.

Rennaissance Parc 55 is a hotel on the corner of O'Farrell and Mason streets in downtown SF.
