Sounds fair.... IF and he probably will counter you, tell him you're going to give it some thought and shop pricing at competing dealers and IF you decide to move to the next step, you'll call him. At that point he'll either sh*t or get off the pot. If he knows you're a repeat customer and ready to deal, then he'll go for it.

 

Was told last week my bike ('09 Ultra with 7k miles) and $17-18000.
