hey Frank-- what kind of seat is that on your SG ?
doesnt look like a stock one..

I have the ovals on my 2009 SE Ultra and am not crazy about the sound. As stated above, they sound "tinny". I have the Rush on my Road Glide and like that sound much better.

bark when you want them to and you can also cruise downtown and not get hassled.

they work for me, quiet at cruising, bark when you hit it.

I had them with true duals on. They did not sound tinny, but not what I was after either, hard to explain. A little too quiet for my tastes.

I added V&H Ovals slip ons w/stage 1 upgrade along with SERT to my ride at about 250 miles. They have opened up more since I now have 12,300 miles on them. Not obnoxious, but respectable and I can hear myself think. I can cruise through my neighborhood with no heads turned. Or I can open up anytime for showing off and asking for trouble. I really appreciate V&H products.

the one in the picture is stock with a stock back rest. I currently have a corbin 2 up tour with back rest! very nice seat. i looking to add a c&c seat.
Thanks for the detailed write / review. I really appreciate you taking the time. Your bike looks great. Is that the pearl white?
