At 5' 9" either shield should work great for you.
At 6' the Klockwerks hits you right at the forehead, so I would think 5' 9" would work.
The Klockwerks looks great to me. It's just too short.
I'm 6' and use a 9 1/2" Clearview with Recurve, works great.
You might consider a Wind Vest also, they have a more aggressive recurve than the CV.

I'm getting ready to order a new windshield before I take the first trip of the season. Narrowed it down to a Clearview 8" recurve or the Klockworks Flare.
Trying to get the bobble head effect to go way when I wear a half helmet, Its brutal right now with a standard 8" windshield.
BTW I'm 5'9" with a 29" inseam if that makes a difference, opinions and reviews are welcome.

+1 CV re-curve
I went with 8in recurve, love it. Big improvement over HD 9in stock shield. Re-curve shield doesn't wobble in the wind, neither does my head, or vibrate at idle while parked. For the ultimate in cold weather wind reduction...add the fairing wings(lets), fixed, not adjustable, and really feel the difference.
