Love my Clearview with re-curve, (the re-curve is standard)

I put a H-D Road Zeppelin Air Seat on my FLTR, and it raised the seat about and inch and a half, so I went with the Clearview+2,

The stock shield with the Road Zeppelin gave extremely bad wind blast, with the +2 I am in calm air heaven, and can see just over the tip of the shield,

I am 6' with a 34 inseam,

I have the Klockwerks (its not in my sig pic yet) and I do love it. I'll check into the recurve to see if I might be missing out on something.

I was worried about the looks too, but it does grow on you, and on my black bike flows nicely IMO.

I had a Clearview on my 08 Ultra and it was a great shield. I have since gone to a Cee Bailey's SSC and really like it too !! You can get a Cee Bailey's and get the same look as the Klockwerks for a lot less money and have lots more choices too. Cee Bailey's ships quick.

I had the Flare for 1 day. Removed and replaced it with the Clearview recurve. I like how the Flare looks and will order one if they make a taller one.

I'm 5' 9" and bought the 8 in Clearview w/recurve.
I'm very pleased with the quality of this windshield.
I ride with a open face helmet and sunglasses ( without foam ), I haven't had any issues with wind in my face or helmet bobbing.
I would recommend them.

I have had the Clearview shields on two bikes now and I like them a lot. The customer service is excellent. I have the 8" with recurve on my SG. I have never tried the Flare or the SSC because, to be honest, I do not like the looks.

I love My KlockWerks! But don't forget Cee Baileys! I think I might try a CB for long touring! I do say My KW has been an outstanding shield...but I can't help but tinker!

Ride safe, Mike
