Is there anybody who has ABS and installed this handlebar?

I am 5'8" and I really don't know what type of handlebar to choose.
The stock handlebar is too far for me. I need one which can be tilted towards me.
BS...I put the Heritage Style bars on my RK (abs and cruise) and didn't have to use any additional harnesses, cables, etc...... take old bars off, put new on and go....

On my 97 RK I started with stock bars, then Heritage bars and then the Flander's bars. Then Flander's were by far the most comfortable. On my RG I started with stock, have moved to wideglide bars, and now I am getting another set of Flander's bars. It's worth checking out the website. Back in 02 when I bought my last pair, if they didn't have the bend you wanted they would custom bend a set for you. Just send them the dimensions.

i remember a recent post that the cop bike bars are 2" higher and 2" back from stock. stock what? can't remember, but it may be an option for you. Let us know what you figure out, there's gotta be something that isn't flat like a drag bar, but not like a wheelbarrow handlebars either. hope you find what works.

I have the beach bars and the wrist angle is a little tiring. Solution? $10 wrist throttle thing that slides over the throttle and has a big wide spot to rest your palm. Works like a champ

pullback risers can take some getting used to. at low speeds instead of turning the bars you will be swinging the bars.

SNIPER - When you install the ape bars, how do extend the wires? Manual splice or is there an extension kit?

Hello all, I am new to the forum, but have been reading for a while. I am in the market for an '09 or '10 Road King, but have held back because, like many of you, I don't like the hunched over ridign position. I am 5'10", 30" inseam, and not too long of arm. The Heritage Classic itself fits me like a glove, but I still consider the Road King a superior bike.

I am pretty much sold on the Heritage Style bar concept, but I am still a little confused.

Can they be installed on a '09 or '10 King without the need for cable extensions, new TPS, etc? Most of you seem to be indicating "yes", but my dealer is saying "no, you need cables and TPS".

Can anyone make a definitive comment?

Thanks
