Default Help - Find Power Inside Fairing

I'm looking to hook up an amp for my radio. Where can I find a switched power lead inside the fairing (besides the headlight)?

Or...how about the hot wire that comes off your headlight harness?

+1 to the power wire for your radio! This way you know both are on the same circuit!

I leave it to you to do the work (I want to go ride)! There is an unused power source on the starter relay (I believe it's 87a) that is located in the middle of the relay. This point turns off during starting (like the radio would) also to prevent surge and is 12VDC with full battery amps. Running off anything else (such as radio power) would maybe tax the circuit. Dunno about the headlight thing but who knows. Going riding!

Thanks guys - going to try the cig lighter first. I currently have it wired into the headlight, but since I put the HID upgrade kit, I get some feedback when the bulb first kicks on. So I need to find some other power source.

I switched the stereo amp to the cig lighter, and I still get the buzzing noise in the speakers. I guess its the conversion kit itself, just has too much draw. I think Radio Smack sells a noise filter for this type of stuff, I'm going to head over there this weekend, and see what I can turn up.
