Why not get the power directly from the battery, with a fuse on the wire? Should be pretty straight forward install. Where do You ground Your Amp? I had a noise on my amp when first installed. Turned out to be a bad ground, went with hogtunes amp, and harness after that, and the noise dissappeared. Ended up grounding directly on the neg on battery. Also check Yor ground on OEM stereo, might be the stereo that has a burned out ground. Might not hear the noise without the amp.
