I also have a Mustang seat similar to your, but it's too wide where my legs touch it and is uncomfortable for that reason, although the seat it's self is sofe enough. How do you find yours?

Marsh,
Bike looks great! What is that color?
My Mustang was a little 'wide' at that inner thigh area for a few hundred miles. But it has broken in completely and is truly a comfy seat. I think the Solo might be narrower than any other Mustang. I had sat on the dual seat version and it was too wide for me. Whatever you do, DON'T buy a Saddlemen crapper seat. Puke!

I have read your dissatisfaction on nearly every post that a Saddlemen seat question comes up. I think we all "get" that you had a bad experience, and that you feel it necessary to warn others about it.
Whether or not this is an isolated incident or whether the responsible parties are still with the company are probably in question. If they are as bad as you claim on EVERY transaction, would they (could they) still be in business?
I have talked to people on this and other forums who have great things to say about this company and I have personally spoken with Saddlemen three times about making me a custom seat. They have been helpful, knowledgeable and seemed more than willing to assist me in any way (at least to take the order and make the sale - obviously).
I will probably be ordering a seat for my Heritage some time this summer. I asked them if they do rallies and they said they will be at Sturgis. If I wait that long, they should have some seats available for inspection.
I'll let you know how it turns out.
My apologies Marsh, for furthering this thread away from your original question.
