Default 2" rise bars, a lot of work.

I just installed the 2" rise handle bars that HD offers for my Ultra. I am not sure if I like them. They kinda feel close. I put them on because of the tension/soreness between the shoulder blades I get on the long hauls.

Somebody please tell me I will love them. That was a lot of work.

Thanks in advance, Tim

First off that is one good looking bagger you have. I just installed the touring pull back bars on my 09 ultra and know what you mean. I am going to tilt mine down a bit after riding two hundred miles with them today. They are still much better than the stock bars unless you have long arms. In the old days we used to have handlebar bending tools, don't know if they are still around or not.

Thanks for the compliment...I left my clamps just a touch loose so I could move the bars around for best fit. I am glad you like the bars.

I just put the sweepers on and so far so good. I may pull them back another inch. Willie if you come up with that bender let me know. I think mine would if the grips turned back toward me just a touch. I guess I could take the grips of and slide a bar on and give it a pull. Then I would not need to lay them back any more. Man I hate decisions. But I like the challenge. Yeeha Plans for the next rainy weekend !!!
