The engine will shut the rear cylinder down at idle the second you roll the throttle it will kick back to life. Makes a neat PUTT PUTT PUTT sound too. On the 09's the owner can turn it on or off. On the 07's and 08's I believe the dealer can activate or deactivate it. I leave mine, on a cooler engine means a longer lasting engine. I believe I read somewhere it kicks in at 220 degrees.
08's turn off and on also.
