Mounted 2 pieces of 2x6 on the wall with lag bolts. Ran threaded rod covered with hose thru them, and viola...detachables are up out of the way.

Wife has easy brakets on her saddlebags, Found a set of the mounting hardware at a swap sale, Mounted them on a 1x6 mounted to the wall. Saddlebags now hang out of the way and safe.

I bought the unit off of e-bay, mounted it to the wall and have never used it since I have never removed my tour pak from the bike. The rack now holds some helmets and I store my laying on the floor blankets on top. I had good intentions though!!!!

Go to roadglide.org.... search for it over there ,in the general discussion forum... I think the post is called "detachable tour pack storage " theres an awesome one on there that everyone is buying...

There's a guy on roadglide.org named Wheelie that makes and ships them out. I bought one that holds the tour pack, sissy bar, helmets, glasses and has a clothes rack built in. You get it raw, but you can paint whatever color (match your bike) you want to. He has it set up to fit perfect on the studs.
