Default 09 SE Roadglide rear facia and bag extensions

I did some searches but came up blank.

It seems that once custom parts are made for the Screaming Eagle models they end up available to purchase to add on. Has anyone seen the Rear Facia or the Bag Extensions anyplace yet?

TIA

I talked to my dealer about the bag extensions when the SERG 1st came out, and they tried but said no dice, they were listed as a 'discontinued part' or something strange like that in the system.

Thank you!

Looks like one would also need the fender and the license plate mount.

Arlen Ness makes bag extensions that might work with this.

You can buy the SERG fender also. Its about $185. Same cost as the RK, FLHX, or any of the other rear bagger fenders. I was going to do what your speaking of doing. The SERG fender was back ordered for 6-8 weeks, so I bought a FLHX fender and cut it down for my 08 FLHX. See my thread below for maybe an alternative to what you are doing for a whole lot less cash.

SERG light harness 70338-09, SERG fender in primer 60463-09, FLHX 09 fender 59731-09, primer fenders are $183.18 from Zanotti

Bringing this one back to life...

Anyone know if the above set-up would bolt right onto an '09 Street Glide? Do I need the mentioned light harness? Anything else to make this work? I would like to use the CVO Road Glide rear fascia with the Cycle Visions tail light/license plate eliminator.

I agree the saddle bag extensions are available in the new parts cat. They were recently released and were not available at first. I am surprised as most "custom" CVO bike parts are protected when first produced. The same was true with the Street Glide fascia at first, after sometime, HD released it to the public. Previously, dealers would only sell you the CVO stuff if you had one of the CVO bikes, thus a valid vin number. Also some dealers wanted the bad or broken part turned in. This was done so regular guys could not REPRODUCE the special features of the CVO bikes. CVO paint is another issue, its very hard to reproduce the exact color let alone buy it in quarts from HD like you can regular colors. I would like to know from someone that has actually bought these fender facia, led parts from zanoitti and see if ya really got them. I have a 2004 Screamin Eagle Electraglide and have dealt with this issue before. Maybe the MOCO is changing their ways. Later all!

I'm still trying to find out the answer to my questions.
