After getting off the Shovelheads and an old Evo EGC, This is the finest ride I've ever had. The wheel bearings were bad at 10,000, the antenna fell off the day I bought it, but those were minor issues in comparison as to how complicated these bikes have become.
Also, the dealer support I've received has been second to none, Texan HD in Conroe, and San Jacinto HD in Pasadena.
I have made no performance upgrades. I've added things like cruise, saddleback liners and lights and a few other things, all factory, and I put them on myself. No problems with those things either. I do all of my own maintenance. She's a keeper.

I'm Happy
I have close to 20K on mine, never been back to the Dealer. When I clean it, I always do a "nut and bolt" on it, as well as when I change the fluids. This is something I would do if it was a metric or whatever brand too.
Sure some of them have had problems, but, it's like buying a car or truck, someone's bound to get a bad one every now and then. I'm lucky enough I guess that if something ever does break, I have a shop with tools and a lift and the knowledge to fix it myself once the warrantee goes out.
