Do you guys think I will have to change my clutch/brake cable/etc if I went with 11-12 BR Custom sweeping beaters? I figured that I could re-route the factory cables at that height. I thought I had seen someone on this board install 12" apes (carlini or Paul Yaffe Monkey bars without having to change anything except wires. Correct me if I am wrong.

Thanks.

Just curious... How tall are you, and are the bars about shoulder level? Do they hit the windshield?
I'm about to take the plunge and would love to know, bro!!!

If you have not been to roadglide.org do it and check out the handle bar threads. 100s of posts on the yaffe's with ton's of pics. I have the 10" and at 5' 10" the only way to make them comfy on my 09 is to rock them back so that they are in line with the forks. I know 12" was the way to go, but I gave up waiting on them. If you are lucky enough to find them or can wait forever 12" is the way to go.
