MSlater, your bike looks great...I am 6'5" as well and I think I will go with those as well.

Do you have a different break lever?

I am tinking about doing the 2" extension brackets and the kury brackets that move you forwar 1" and out 1" to give me 1" out and 3" forward.

Yeah that is one of the reasons I am looking into getting the Hoggchopp lowers in stead of the HD ones, they are a little further out and curved in further on the bottom for more clearense for the foot controls. I was asking about your foot brake pedal, it looks longer than most.

Default Bigger is better

I went with 20" apes on my RKC and love the height and pull back. Changed out all the cables extended the wires etc etc etc did it myself because the steelers are outrageously expensive, it isn't extremely difficult only time consuming.

Saw a SG with 16" this last w/e and it looks great tucked in behind the windshield. I don't have a fairing or windshield but IMO still looks good with apes.

In the end it is worth investigating and just getting what you like even if it takes a few tries!

Just my $.02

Thumbs up Ordered my mini-apes last week!!

I ended up ordering a set of sweeping beaters from BR Custom. They will be 11" -12" in height, 32" wide at the top and 10" wide at the bottom. They are 1.5 " thick with a solid gusset. They should be here the first part of September. Can't wait to get them on!!

They will look just like these but a couple inches shorter and a hair narrower!
