'09 Road Glide w/ Ape Hangers?
#21
I've been calling around for 10inch mini apes. I hate dealerships, a few are telling me that I might be able to stretch wires and some are telling me that I need new wires and it involves 10 hours labor! They're trying to wack me $1300 bucks! I think I'm going to trust CROPSURE and order the Chubby 515's and see if the lines will fit.
Lumpster83,
I got the same run around from my dealer. Went to my local indie and let him do it. He assured me we wouldn't have to do extentions and he was true to his word. It did end up being 4.5 hours labor though. Wiring all of that internally takes quite a bit of time. Good luck with whatever you decide.

do yourself a favor and get at least 13"s. I reccomend cyclesmiths. If you go smaller you will always wish you went bigger...the 13"s are the most comfortable bars I have ever ridden. i did +6 on throttle and brake +8 on the clutch. left side switch wiring not extended at all still plenty of slack, right side had to add about 6" to. i kinda wish i had gone to 16"s but im really happy with the 13"s

I want to see some more pics of Road Glides with ape hangers from the side front and rear. I am contemplating a set of 10 or 12" apes on mine but don't want them to look ridiculous. I think a set of 10" bars *(with 1.5" tubing) BR Custom Sweeping Beaters with solid gusset powder coated black would look sweet but I can't tell if they will be too wide based on what few pics I have seen of these bars. Anybody have a set of these?
