I typically use this stuff called The Bom bike cleaner. It's one of those waterless cleaners. I typically still wash the bike, spot dry it, and then wipe the bike down with it. Works like a charm and gets a great shine! (I've done the same with Pledge, does basically the same thing.)

I'm going to have to try it also. With all these testimonies it must be great. Quick question, Should you stay away from Lemon Pledge? When washing the bike I know you should not use a soap that has lemon or any citrus oils in it because it will strip the wax off the paint. Is that also true for Lemon Pledge? I think I will stick to regular Pledge for now.

The only thing I've experienced is the scent attracts bees. I stick with the "original" Plege. And I've found that it works best with 2 towels -- the second one really buffs it to a shine (microfiber of course). Oh -- and I use it on the whole bike, except for the surface of the seat. Don't need to be slip-slidin' away...

My wife wants to know if you guys find using PLEDGE around the house to be just as effective as using it on your motorcycles? Dusting furniture, window sills, top of fridge, TV etc.

I have used Pledge for as far back as I can remember. I carry a can of it and a microfiber rag in my saddlebag. It's the best that I have found for the money.
