Thumbs up Throw away your wash bucket & mitt

Don't know if anyone ever heard of this stuff. Doctor Mecanico cleaner and wax? It's mfg. by Universal Products in the USA.
It's been a long time since I've been inpressed with a product. After moving to Puerto Rico, I tried a product that is called Doctor Mecanico. It's a soap with Carnuba wax in it. They use it to clean their boats cars, and bikes. Holly crap !!
Just mix 1 quart to 3 quarts water, put it in a pump up sprayer and spray the whole bike. Wait 10 minutes and hose it off. Done. I did my UC this morning and I just took a sham wow to mop up the excess water. I didn't even get the blower out. The bike shined like the day I brought it home 3 years ago. If your towel is dirty when you wipe it off, you missed a spot when you sprayed it down. It will not strip the wax off. The wheels, tires, dash, and the whole painted surfaces. IT DID NOT HAVE ANY WATER SPOTS PERIOD! It sells here for about $6.50 a gallon at any store from Walgreens to walmart. I never used the wash mitt, bucket or shammy. the only reason I used the sham wow was to get the standing water off the engine and
dash. People you won't believe this stuff. Dan

Sounds good, But I'd still rather wash my scoot by hand. I get a better look at things that way.

Got to use a car soap and a mitt to wash my bike to git the buggs off of it.
I use the motorcycle dryer and use Protectall in a spray can from Cycle gear and wax it.

People, I'm telling you, at 60 years of age I've washed my fair share of Street Rods, bikes and personel cars and trucks. I've never seen anything that works so good and easy. The stuff lifts the dirt and bugs off with no rubbing. Hands down, It's the most popular cleaner around here for boats and cars.

Well if it's that good, maybe I'll give it a try if I can find it up here in the cold north. Haven't had to worry about washing since last November! I wish I had to worry about it.... Thanks for the tip though.

I'm pretty satisfied with Mr. clean auto wasy, and besides it's therapy for me to detail my bike, saves money on shrinks.
