Throw away your wash bucket & mitt

Ahhh...gotta love this forum for all the opinions
I've used Honda Brite and find it's in the top 2 or 3 cleaners/detailers I've tried.
Like Bike Brite as well and have used S100. Also have carnauba hand wax. Then I tried a car wash solution from Walmart Auto Center.
I haven't noticed much difference among them all. But I always either use detail spray or carnauba wax after washing as none of the other products completely "shine" without some help.....at least not on my copper and black colors

bjryman, I was skeptical when a friend asked me to help him wash his truck with that stuff. He just sprayed it on and waited 10 minutes and hosed it off. I spent 3 hours the first time down here, getting the dirt off, rinseing, blow drying and then polishing. And I still missed some spots. Granted, the hand waxing is still the best, but for every week washing, Its amazing.

Don't know if anyone ever heard of this stuff. Doctor Mecanico cleaner and wax? It's mfg. by Universal Products in the USA.
It's been a long time since I've been inpressed with a product. After moving to Puerto Rico, I tried a product that is called Doctor Mecanico. It's a soap with Carnuba wax in it. They use it to clean their boats cars, and bikes. Holly crap !!
Just mix 1 quart to 3 quarts water, put it in a pump up sprayer and spray the whole bike. Wait 10 minutes and hose it off. Done. I did my UC this morning and I just took a sham wow to mop up the excess water. I didn't even get the blower out. The bike shined like the day I brought it home 3 years ago. If your towel is dirty when you wipe it off, you missed a spot when you sprayed it down. It will not strip the wax off. The wheels, tires, dash, and the whole painted surfaces. IT DID NOT HAVE ANY WATER SPOTS PERIOD! It sells here for about $6.50 a gallon at any store from Walgreens to walmart. I never used the wash mitt, bucket or shammy. the only reason I used the sham wow was to get the standing water off the engine and
dash. People you won't believe this stuff. Dan

oh yeah...
ha ha... The secret is out... Yes folks this stuff is very very good, your waxing products will last much longer because you'll not feel the need to wax as often as before. And boy those it make washing a snap... It's been the talk in the "detailing rumor mill" lately. Good stuff no doubt. Yes there are other good products out there but this is definitely another score for the chemistry world.
