Here's a pic of my wo508's with stock cables (I bent the brake line a lot better after ) I extended my wires about 8 inches so I could run the wires through the bars a bit easier.I extended the wires in the middle to maintain the right colours at either end. I'm 6ft. 1/2in. tall,34 inseam and with the rider's backrest I'm in the comfort zone

When I first put the 508's on I didn't have a riders backrest, and I felt like I was leaning back to far, being a little over 6 ft. tall, so I thought the 518's would suit me better. They are about 4in. wider with 2in. less pullback. But since I installed a riders backrest are is well. My back always feels good....However, if I hadn't got such a steal of a deal on my 508's ,and if I had a choice between 518 or 508 for the same price, I still would take the 518's.I think just a little wider would be good.

Got it! Well, I'm 6' tall and would like to lean back on my adjustable rider backrest of my 2009 Road King Classic. I'm really in dubt concerning the 508, 517, 518 and Chrome High Handlebar from HD (56180-08). Guys, please, give me a help! What are your opinions about it?

-518 - good: less angled wrist; bad: less pullback (14-1/4").
-508 - good: more pullback (16"); bad: more angled wrist.
-517 - good: higher (8-1/2" - twice the others!) and more similar with the Road King Classic Style and it's a improved Heritage Style Handlebar from HD and more pullback (14-1/2") than the 518; bad: more angled wrist (same as 508).
-HD Chrome High - good: higher than all (9-1/2"); bad: less pullback than all (9").

Does the more angled wrist position of the 508 and 517 is bad? Does the less pullback from the 518 and 517 prevents leaning back on the rider backrest (6' tall!)? Does the higher 517 and HD CH prevents the same?

Thank you all!!
