Has anyone used the iJet for thier IPod. Can you comment on sound quality. Any pros or cons you may have. I have a 120GB ipod classic, looking for a mount. The Rider's Claw doen't work with the ipod classic I learned after contacting company. Anyone knoww if the Gilbo's mount works with the classic.

I've got an iJet remote control. It works really well. You can volume +or -, skip tracks, and pause. It doesn't affect sound quality, as far as I know. It just lets you control the iPod. I would not recommend mounting a hard drive iPod to your bike though. You will eventually lock it up.

 

Gilbos' mounts are made for the different generations of the Nano.

I also second the comment about using an ipod with a hard drive on a bike. The vibration will ruin it. Get a flash memory based ipod. I just picked up a refurb black 8gb 3rd gen nano on apple.com for $99 shipped. That is half of what they sold for new. Didn't really want a 4th gen as they are smaller and too gimmicky for my tastes.

 

I dont think it does anything with sound quality. you still use the headphone jack.
