Yep. That's exactly why I have that turned off.

 

Surdyke is still shipping is seems. I'm not sure if I'm in their dealer territory, but if I am... so lucky.

Looks like the Motor Company is stepping in and telling dealers to stay in their territory. Here is part of
a email I received from one of the larger Harley dealers in regards to on-line purchases:

"​​​​​​Dear Surdyke.com customers

We regret to inform you that in order to comply with Harley-Davidson's retail sales policy, we can no longer ship Genuine Harley-Davidson Parts & Accessories or Genuine MotorClothes outside of our assigned dealer territories.
Many of you have been our on-line customers for over 20 years and we know how much this will not only affect us, but you the consumer too."

Doubt there will be many dealers offering any discounts on parts & accessories now.

 

I've been a customer with Surdyke (via online ordering) for years. Just got a letter from them explaining that they can now only ship to their "territory", and I'm not in it. It was a good run... great prices and customer service.

 

I tried to order from them yesterday and a pop up came up saying they cannot ship the parts to my area as HD is now protecting territories.

 

Welp. Add me to the list. Not lucky...

 

Anybody try Ronnie's yet? Their web page has been a zoomed in mess for a long time now. Surdyke's looks the same on my computer. So zoomed in you can't navigate through the microfiche pages........

 

Savannah HD offers 15% military discount most Saturdays. On top of that you usually get a Rider Reward point for every dollar spent plus you can pay for it with your HD Visa card and get those points. On some Saturdays they also have a free lunch which can be burgers/dogs plus chips and drink but sometimes it could be a meat and 2 veggies plus drink. Probably getting close to 20% off total or maybe even a little more.
