Default 3.37 Gearing Just do it!

I put the 3.37 gearing in the primary of my 06 yesterday and rode it today. What a major improvement. I always felt like I was either needed to up shift or down shift when running the normal speed limits or +5. Now it seems to be in the sweet spot. The 6th gear is even more usable as I am running about 2750 rpms at 70. Still not as much torque as my 89 but a big improvement over stock.

If you are on the fence about this upgrade come on over to the dark side.

Same chain because it is one less tooth on one sprocket and one extra tooth on the other (i.e. 37 tooth clutch basket, 24 tooth comp sprocket.)

On my list... I'd researched that when I had my Road Glide and from what I'd read, a BIG improvement.

Default Your 99 is already a 337.

You are talking final drive in 5th gear, he is configuring his bike like a 99 through 01 touring. then in 02 they went to a 315.
