Had one and sent it back. Quality was not there in my opinion, especially in the lining department. I was very disappointed......

Also want to add ....
I got the DOT Polo version because I wanted a visor for shading the
sun when the sun is low in the sky. The ones that snap on usually
end up vibrating after awhile and it becomes wicked annoying.
Great people to bussiness with. I ordered one size smaller than
the one I have and it was too tight. They took it back no questions
asked. The only thing I do not like is the interior of the helmet.
They should show and explain how it works. They give you
three foam bands that are different thickness that velcro to
the inside to fit your head more perfectly. I'll have to do a
YouTube video tonight when I get home and post it. So people
can understand how it works and looks. Other than that I LOVE
the helmet and can't wait for it to get warmer here so I can use
it all the time.
Rob ....

Another +1 here for ACC. I live close enough to buy at the factory and they indeed do reshape per customer need if required (plus give a 10% forum discount to us). The best customer service out there folks - the BEST!

I bought one and had to send it back. I couldn't get it to fit comfortably no matter what I tried or foam insert I used. I would like to find them somewhere and have them fit me.

Me too. They have to squash one that's a little large to make it longer front-to-back versus side-to-side for me.

Maybe something like a paper cutout that matched a nice worn-in hatband or something like that would work. They're in Orlando and we're going over there anyway within a month for new helmets for ourselves (I only keep them a couple of years - old school thinking) so if whatever it is that will work needs any help from me just holler.

Here is a picture of the inside of the helmet.
You can see the foam piece that velcros inside to accomadate
your head better and is the only cusion between your head and
the hard foam inner shell. They give you 3 different thicknesses
all cut the same shape.

I have the older style DOT ACC helmet. The lining is a bit thinner than the one above. I wouldn't trade it for the world. Lightest and most comfy helmet I have ever worn.

same here, and the straps were not symmetrical, but I must say they are the nicest people you will ever deal with

I had an HCI carbon fiber DOT polo. Its really thin and it saved my life. I hit the ground at about 20mph and I didnt even have a concussion. Best helmet I ever had (only one I ever tested either). My replacement helmet will be another HCI.
