Default Confession time

My wife and I just got into a huge fight over me buying something for my bike the other day. Today, I found myself in the Harley store deciding if I really needed the add-on or do I really want to keep it peacefull at home. I chose the add-on, like always. Now, I am sleeping on the couch tonight. But my bike looks sweet.....

Has anyone been there and done that? If so, lets hear the story.

had a friend that owned a Boat (just a Harley that floats) anyway... he and his wife used to fight all the time about $$$ until they came up with this... $50 = one "unit" so when the quesiton was asked "how much" don't worry Dear, it only cost 3 units....lol.... it worked for them.... just passing a story on...

You don't have your "stash" $$$ hidden???

Right after I got the road king, I was buying a few NECESSITIES and when wife found out she hid my check book, credit card, debit card, and my piggy bank. She was mad as hell for a few days. She is over it now, but dam it was hard sleeping for awhile.

Try the "Honey, your seeing things", line next time..........

Should be good for about 2 or 3 pieces of chrome till she catches on!

I don't tell my wife about the expensive stuff (like the TVII), and always emphasize the bargain side of everything else. For instance, I bought a set of bare aluminum rocker boxes, cam cover, and tranny covers, had 'em powdercoated black, stuck 'em on and sold my chrome stuff on ebay (where I got the used stuff) for a major profit. I've done this with so many things off the bike that my wife lost track of what I've made and spent, so now I just say everything I buy was already paid for by what I sold.

She acts like she believes me.

Get one of those Harley Davidson Visa cards. The HD bucks comming back at ya makes it look like your earning extra money.

(unfortunately it did not test out correctly for me.)
