Default 09 touring part numbers?

I am doing a little research and was needing the part numbers for the rear axle spacers and rear rim for an 09 FLHX. And if someone could measure the distance between the swing arm axle attache points it would be greatly appreciated. Bump.

You are thinking like me. I am contemplating this for my '09 winter project as well. I think the '09 rear arm will need spacers of some sort to accomodate the wider frame. The Fender for '09 is 9" wide and ours is 8" wide. I would like to see the new cast spoke rim fit back there. I have some investigating to do. Timberland has some intresting ideas that he is working on. Putting a SE 18" 180 on his '08. part numbers would be great if anyone has them.

What about the swing arm zbaber? I am curious. Also the shaft that runs through it.

Default thanks

I am about ready to pull the trigger on a crashed in the rear 08 and am going to put the swing arm and rear fender from a screaming eagle on it with with an 09 rear wheel. If you get a chance and could measure the swing arm the next time you are thinking about it I would appreciate it.

in all honesty, you can fit a 180 tire in a stock 07-08 FL swingarm. Its the drive and wheel pulleys that need to be spaced out by a little bit, and the wider fender from either an SE RK, or go aftermarket (probably cheaper)

Klock Werks sells a "Mo Tire" kit to mount a 180 tire under an 07-08 bagger, for under 2 grand.

Or piece your own kit, buy spacers, an aftermarket rear wheel (or SE RK or17" Dyna wheel) and put a 180 tire on it, buy a fender, and have fun.

You could even get a 07+ softail rear pulley and belt (20mm, narrower than stock fl) and use that to gain belt clearance.

IF your wanting a wider rear tire, which is what it seems like

Default 09 Part numbers?

With the bike being damged from the rear including the rim I will probably just go with the stock 09 rim which is 400.00, SE swing arm for 228.00 and SE fender 188.00. I am assuming that the 09 rim will already address the pulley issue. The part numbers for the spacers on the 09 are -08 numbers so I am assuming the alignment of the 09 wheel shouldn't be an issue either. Then again we all know what ASSUME means.
The spacing of the drive pulley will be a question that I will investigate further once the bike is on the stand in the garage. What is the part number of the drive pulley on the 09? Is there any spacers with the drive pulley?
Thanks,
MC

I want to go with oe rim. Timberland had a great write up for a 180 tire install. I love the look of the new rim. I do not want a kit, like KW for I do not want that fender. I want to go the '09 look and have oe parts, in case I have a break down or flat tire on the road. is the SE arms diffrent from reg touring arms? I'd rather have the reg arm. Just to do it.
