Make the dealer/MoCo eat that player! Screw the re-flash bs, get a brand new player for your scoot. Why is everybody else not having a problem and you are?
That dealership would be so sick of my face they would give me two, just to get me out of the shop[:@]

Another vote for a flawless player.

The Advanced Audio on my 06 Ultra has been fabulous since purchase last October. MP3 CD's with 150+ songs each play without a single burp.

Agree with above post - TAKE IT BACK. Make them make it right.

 

Just picked up my 06 Electra Glide Classic last Thursday. 400 miles so far and no problems playing an mp3 CD. Although I find (and this is what the dealer told me too), that it does need to be warmed up first or it wont play the disc properly. I play the radio for 10 minutes and then everythings fine.

 

Mine kicks *** with Hogtunes, no skipping, 7.8 update, great system and features!

 

I'm really really really hoping that the problem was with the CD itself. The problem was intermittent and with my luck, I would not be able to repro at the dealership. [:@]

I'm going to try some different CDs, flash the ROM and see what happens.

 

Rode into work this morning listening to Bruce Hornsby and The Range. CD player worked like a champ. Go figure.

 

I guess I'm a lucky one my CD player works great.

 

I have had only one problem. Rode down to Galveston two weeks ago. CD was working fine. Stopped in to wash a little dust out of my throat. When I left CD was locked up. Could not turn off, adjust volumn, switch to radio!! Nothing. Rode 40 -50 miles to next watering hole. Was there about an hour. When I left everything was back to normal. Hasn't happened since. Go figure.
