Anyone venture to offer comments on the Pewter Pearl that's being offered on the 09 Street Glide. Any problems with glare coming off the tank. Torn between a Vivid Black and Pewter Pearl...help me out folks.

 

For me it was between Pewter Pearl and the Red Hot Sunglo, ended up getting the RHS but every time I see the Pewter Pearl, I think damn, I should have got that. Check out PuttNutt's ride in Pewter, sharp ride. Besides, everybodys got black, be different.

I haven't had any glare issues while riding, but it sure shines up good.

 

I have a Pewter Pearl Electra Glide. It is really forgiving of dust and water marks unlike black.

 

I too had a hard time deciding on the Pewter Pearl or the Red Hot Sunglo. Because of ease of maintantance, I'm glad I went with the Pewter. If the RHS didn't have so much orange in it I would have gone that route. No glare problems what so ever with the Pewter Pearl. Honestly though, I don't think you'd be disappointed with either....

my favorite for sure..when i can no longer stand the vivid black on mine..thats what it will get!

 

No problem with glare and I've gotten lots of compliments with Pewter Pearl on my EGC...and there aren't that many in that color in this neck of the woods.
