This isn't about rallies but I'm thinking most neighbors will be looking at this thread

motorcyclegrandtouroftexas.com

I believe I'm going to mess with this in the coming season. Lots of stuff to see and places to go.

There are actually two West Texas. There is a town north of Waco that is named West, Texas. Where the fertilizer explosion in 2013 happened. Yeah. It rattled the windows at my house here in Waco. And. Where does west Texas begin?

I forgot about the city of West. Been through there many times.

Where does west Texas start, good question. I grew up in Runnels county and that was considered west Texas. Coleman county, the next county to the east, is considered central Texas, so I dont know.

OK. sounds like a plan.
I learned of this last year but too late to register.
Registration closes 28Feb so there's still time if you want to register.

I was checking it out on the site. But I'm still not entirely free to roam right now and won't be until tonight. I'll definitely check it out in more detail.

I am in Midland now, hope to be living in Hico before the end of the year. I have land in Hico and hopefully getting a house started this spring. Retirement can't come soon enough. Been in the oil patch way too long.

The wife and I have done the Texas tour the last 2 years. It has been fun and we are signed up again for 22. We have never done all 50 stops. We got 38 in 20 and 40 last year. We don't really care so much about getting all 50, we figure when people are doing something we think is cool it is good to support it. It a good incentive to get out and ride and go places you probably wouldn't otherwise go.
