Chrome Lower forks pitted

If you have actual pitting, or loss of chrome plate, you cant fix it unless you re-chrome or replace. You may also have the sandblast effect from miles of riding and small chips, thus nicks in the chrome plate or loss of chrome material. Again, no real fix. No pictures and your description is vague. Is the chrome flaking off or is it nicked up? If this is due to mile of use and sandblast effect, clean them up best you can, get some clear 3m protective sheet and cut some to fit, will provide some future protection. Good Luck.

If it's actually pitted, you're going to have to rechrome to bring it back to original. Unfortunately there's no quick fix. But you should have gotten a lot of miles out of it before the pitting occurred. And I'm saying at least 50K. I've got 70K on mine, and while there is some minor pitting, and sandblasting effect from all the travel, they still look pretty nice. They'll go to 100K before I strip the entire thing, and throw a new motor and Baker in it....
