Anybody using the lowering kits from road6customs? Would you recommend them? thanks

If these are the block type I would not. I had a pair on (different vendor), easy install looked nice lowered, however it ended up cutting the rear wire harness. Removed them. I recommend using the shorter air shocks. They lower the bike but don't risk the bottoming out (clearance.)

You have a $20,000 machine, stay away from lowering brackets as they are the cheap alternative to a job done right.
Spend an extra $100 and get them lowered at www.bitchinbaggers.com and you will still have the original shocks.

I use the blocks on all my my bikes. I'm not "heavy" and I do not use the lowest setting. Lower the bike no more than 1 inch and you'll be ok.

It's not rocket science. My .02

I used the TJ Products 1 inch blocks on mine. No problems. If you have an abundance of cash like some on here, get new shocks. If you're like me(working class poor), get some blocks and try them. TJ's dont change the shock angle so the ride is the same.

Mine are 1 1/2" cut downs and work great.
