Default Avon Venom 150 on Rear?

Anyone put a Venom 150 on the rear of a 2006 SG? DId it fit without any mods? I just ordered some Avons w/ the 150 but haven't received them yet. The stocker is a Dunlop 77H MU85B-16. The stock rear looked pretty close to the lower belt guard, so don't have a lot of room to spare....

I am on my 3rd Avon Venom rear 150 with no prob's on my 04 EGC. I would liked to have went with the 180 but after measureing it, I would have been fine 1 up, but when 2 up it would have rubbed.

I put a set on a Kawi Vulcan Nomad and loved them. YES they take higher air pressure and if you fail to note that, I guess you can easily wear them out prematurely. I'd buy them again, no problem and they stick like glue.

had 150 metz and 150 Michelin's on my 07 SG . they fit with no problem. would like to try a 160 but I don't want to have to mod the swing arm or fender to do it.

150 no problem what so ever. There what Metzler calls a +1 Dunlops/Metzler 160 can fit. I do not belive Avon makes 1 that does, not 100% though. Timberland was using either 150/160 before going to a 180.

avon venoms are a 150.
mathews2 you can fit a 160 in the space but the rim needs to be wider than the stock 3.5
