You can bet on it! A friend of mine purchsed one just before a Parade we were to ride in, Man what a difference! On the ROAD, about 15 bikes up front you could see it a mile! Nice a bright on a sunny day. While riding in the group, he toned it down and no complaints, just complements on how great it looked and could be seen. Mine is right here beside the computer, waiting on a warmer day to install it, anything above zero would be nice. We all have our opinions and we all have our likes or dislikes. I like the fact that safety is the key plus the benifit of having many choices with a 5 year warranty out of the box. Yep, 2 bills in my opinion it's worth it. OF course it's my opinion and I could be wrong! Ride long, hard, safe and have fun! Hey use your Harley Points, you can appply them towards the purchase.

I purchased my BA light a couple of years ago and have never regretted it. Is it going to prevent a drunk driver or a texter from hitting you? No but I am a firm believer that it will prevent some which makes it worth the cost.
This past summer I had an elderly lady yell at me at a stoplight that there was something wrong with my tail light as it was blinking off and on! I have to laugh and tell her that is what it is supposed to do
I am just a weekend mechanic at best and it took me about 10 minutes to install...just make sure the dealer sells you the correct model.

 

Two of my best riding buds have BALs. Drives me a little crazy when I ride behind one of them - but safety is safety. And neither one of them use the brightest setting, but they flash before going to steady on. I have my Custom Dynamics Genesis II light set to flash, too. Anything to get the attention of the person behind me makes sense.

 

I have an extra like new for sale that I took off a bike I sold. PM me if anyone wants it. BAL-1. I love these lights, I have one on my Ultra. But none of my other bikes will fit this light so need to pass it along and let someone have it and save some $$$.

 

I hate you TULLY! I had just hung up the phone with BAL when you posted this! I would have gladly purchased yours and saved some coin!

 

I would advise anyone who gets a BAL to use different hardware to install it, so that someone with just a phillips screwdriver can't ****** it. BAL sells security hardware but you can likely get something similar at True Value. I think 2 such bolts should come with the light.
