Default Little crotch rocket.....2nd bike

How many of you guys keep a 2nd bike around?
I want a 2nd bike for work (and to keep some miles off my FLHT) and can't afford another Harley. So, I've been offered a sweet little mint Suzuki SV650S with 7K on it for $2,500.00. I'm 49 years old and would really just use the thing for riding to work 10 miles away and a little ride after work sometimes for stress relief. I rode a buddies Honda RR awhile back and it had a fun factor to it, not like my Glide, but a fun factor.
I'm also thinking insurance won't go up much having 2 bikes, right?

I don't have one now, but I can say that the SV650s are great bikes and lots of fun (had one several years ago)

I had a suzuki TLR 1000R for a second need for speed bike. I am again in the market for another bike to have on hand in Florida. The used rockets are very affordable.

I own a Hayabusa rice rocket and it is a great early Sunday morning blast, especially catching 3rd gear and the front wheel is still off the ground. 170 MPH is no problem. That's why you ride before the cops and anyone else comes out. BUT, if I want to take a relaxing, enjoyable 100 mi ride or more, the Ultra is it.

Yeah, about an hour in the saddle on a crotch rocket will be enough for me I think.

Here's my brand X bike, a 1994 BMW K1100RS. I snapped this photo during a trip to Ontario, Canada last summer.
