Legal in all 50 states: Yes, if they adhere to DOT regulations. I don't know of any that don't.
Load equalizer: No
Degree of difficulty: 1 on a scale of 10 (1 being lowest)

Pros:

1. Improve frontal visibility
2. Should increase the life of an H4 headlight bulb. Bulbs run cooler when pulsed 20-100%.
3. Plug-and-play install.

Con: Cost

Who makes them and is there one particular modulator that everyone likes? This is for my 08 SG.
The Kisan Pathblazer may be the most popular model. I installed one of these on my old RK in 2002, transferred it to my '07 SG, and it's still running. I'm also running an 80/100w bulb, so high-powered bulbs don't faze them.

At the Ruidoso AspenGold Rally, I seen a rider in the parade that had his passing lamps flashing like the police bikes in pursuit (with clear lenses of course). Does anyone know how to do this on a 08 UC?

Haven't checked in a while but they were illegal in Texas a few years back.

However, the Federal law overrides the state law. The only problem with that is the Texas DPS officer didn't know the Federal law. Wrote me a ticket and I had to go to court with a copy of the Federal law to get te ticket dismissed.

After that I always carried the Federal law and override of state law provision in my saddlebag.

They're worth their weight in gold in my opinion !!!!!!!
used the Kriss modulator for over three years never had one issue with it and i would like to think it helped me being seen. iirc the biggest cause of motorcycle accidents are cars turning left in front of you.
