This is for an 07 electraglide classic. I'm 6' tall , long legs short torso. I'm currently using the stock 12 inch shield and it is definitely to tall. If I sit up straight and lift my butt up off the seat about an inch i can see over the shield. I hate looking through the shield as it really effects my night vision(which is already in the crapper). I was think somewhere between a 11-13 inch cee bailey ssc windshield, but what do you guys think would be the best height?

 

If you get a 12" or 13" Cee Bailey SSC shield you will be happy. It would be equivalent to a 9" stock.

 

Actually, A CB 12" is equal to a stock 9" and a CB 13" is equal to a stock 10". Try taking a grease pencil and measuring up 9" & 10" from the base of the windshield/top of the fairing and drawing a line across the windshield. This would approximate the CB windshield hieght. Sit on the bike or better yet ride it and note your best viewing position. I am 5'8" and use a CB 12". dawg is soso much shorter and he probably uses a CB 6" windshield.

I installed a 13'' SSC today. Its awesome and actually about an inch lower than the 10'' Cee Devil I had on (the cee devil is said to sit an inch higher than its listed height) Great wind protection, clean wind with no turbulence and I can clearly see over the top of it.
