Stage 1 but can't go over 100 mph. why?
Did stage 1 at the dealer a few months ago, put the HD computer (raisetuner I think it is called )and the Rinehart pipes. Bike now runs faster and better but I can only get close to 100 mph when i have wind from behind and no passanger. They did a dyno run. Is this normal?
I met a guy who has a dyno shop here in South Florida and he says he trains the HD dealers on how to dyno. He said if he runs my bike at his dyno he can improve it without idecreasing much the mpg . I think this will cost close to $300.
Are the results I got at the dealer normal?
Thanks

When my Ultra was bone stock I never could quite get to 90 MPH. on a long straight stretch, and it wouldn't pull your hat off your head on start-up from a stop light without burning the clutch. Now, after the 103 SEII kit, 100 MPH is no problem any time anywhere, and start up torque is much better. Plenty of passing power now. The 96 stock motor is a leaned out overrated pig on that big heavy Ultra pushing that wide windscreen with leg farings..

I think before I paid $300.00 (which is an average price for dyno) I would take it back to the dealer. Talk to them and have them dyno it again.
No, IMO it is not normal. My stock 88 after the stage 1 saw an easy 105-107mph. Now with the cams and 95" I haven't found top end.....yet
