I have had my stock 96 up to 105 a few times and didn't really work hard to get there. I don't know what the top end is.

It seems like there's a problem. I've crossed the 100 mph mark once and I'm pretty sure there was plenty left, she was still pulling nicely. You do have a bit more wind resistance but your description sounds like there's an issue.

I had my bike up to 105 with just the slip-ons with no a/c or fuelpac two-up. We were cruising down the interstate enjoying the ride and I happened to look at the speedo. The bike I had before couldn't hit 95 falling off a cliff...

Raisetuner? How fast you can go is the least of your problems.

105 a few times bike is stock everything, no windshield, plenty fast for this bike. Sitting position does not lend itself to hight speed but the bike was stable. The upright riding position made it feel more like 140, thing don't come up has fast though.

BTW thats what the speedo indicated and I could not get anymore I tried a few times.

A red bike will never be as fast as a black one so that might be part of your problem and the other part might be that you had a "raisetuner" installed and not a Race Tuner.

I met a guy who has a dyno shop here in South Florida and he says he trains the HD dealers on how to dyno. He said if he runs my bike at his dyno he can improve it without idecreasing much the mpg . I think this will cost close to $300.

Are the results I got at the dealer normal?

Thanks
Simple solution, get a Hyabusa as a second bike, and join the 170 club.

You might want to drop her down a gear, it will go faster in 5th than it will in 6th.

If you want a fast Harley you need to buy a Road Glide.

Take it back to your dealer, my old evo would hit 110. I am still trying to get used to hitting the rev limiter on my 08 . I will have to something about that. I can't stand when a gold wing walks away from me cuz i I tacked out. I am betting that is your problem .
