It's a very gaudy piece when installed.

A little harder to reach true, but not a problem and I weigh 220 and I ain't flexable. LOL
Texas, I'm kinda concerned of the HD backrest pushing me forward too, so how much difference is there between the Mustang and the HD? Also does the Mustang fold ahead so you can get on and off easy? You got a Mustang p/n#? Do you know if it would fit the 09 Ultra seat? Sorry for all the little questions...

I had them both, the mustang is about 1/2 as thick. It folds completely flat and pulls out and back in a seconds. I throw a leg over and lift it back up before it sit.

Hundreds of thousands of miles with Corbins and their backrest system. Great seat. Backrest is essential for long mileage hauls, and comfort. Once you get your seat and handlebars set correctly, everything else is gravy. Congrats!

So just use both hands. I'll cruise for miles sometimes without my hands just to relax my arms.

I agree. But when you're knocking down 600-mile days, function rules form and style points are out the window.

Totally dig mine. Turned 40 last week so I can leave it on the bike all of the time now! Ha ha ha.

Makes the bike feel like a Barcolounger!

I'm 6 foot tall and there is a noticable difference in feeling pushed forward with the HD and not as much with the Mustang.

The Mustang will "fold flat" very easily for getting on and off the bike.
The HD one will fold forward, but not flat on your Ultra seat.

I checked checked out the Mustang web site for a part number. Then when bargin hunting on ebay for one. I bought a new one off ebay and saved about $50 verses my "No-Discount for you (plus sales tax)" ba$tard dealer of mine.

This should be the Smooth (no studs) setup for an '09 - Model: 79610
http://www.mustangseats.com/cart/ind...oducts_id=1402

They say smooth but it still has a design in it.

I couldn't find one on eBay right now but Zanotti will give nice discounts on aftermarket products. Give them a call.

Or just call Mustang
