Default Anyone hard wire the Sirius "Starmate"?

I got the hard wire kit from TSS-Radio to hard wire my Sirius "Starmate" and want to make sure I have all that's needed to go directly into the stock HD radio.

This is the look I'm going for:

Looks good, I have had the same sirius radio for a while now in my truck, but havent gotten the chance to venture on how to wire it up on the bike. Is the antenna on top of your fairing?

Yes, I installed the Sirius antenna on top of the outer fairing (under the windshield of the RG) using velcro and ran the wires up through the inside of the fairing. I am installing the black SERG windshield so the Sirius antenna will be hidden...I just hope the receiption is clear.

Pics are in my online album in HD Forums.

Looks good...

Were you able to wire to the back of the stereo or do you have to plug into the front Aux input?

What about that bugger in rain?

Yes, hard wired up and under the fairing to the back of the radio, I wanted it clean with no wires showing.

The Starmate is held on with Velcro, easily removed and tucked into the saddle bag.

Thanks...

For some reason, I really like that color you got there...

Am I missing something here? Are the 09 radio's different than the 08. My plug is on the front of the radio. How are you hooking it in the back?

I wired my Starmate back to the inside of my Tourpak. I plug into the Aux but can completely hide the wire when not in use. Have a power source in there too. Also works for my Ipod. Works in the rain too. Just can't change channels but hey, nothing's perfect.
Hey Scott, I hope you get to ride that Roadie soon. Seems like it's costing you a fortune while you wait.
