I had to laugh at the question, but I don't have a lot of room to. I didn't make the "silver ****" mistake when I bought my first bike, but I did have some dumb questions. This one tops the list...........Here I am at 18, I just bought my first bike, an 883 Custom. I was proud that day. Of course I was eat up with HD right off the bat, and wanted to start doing my thing to it. First thing to do was lower it. I went to change the rear shocks on it and just could not believe that some fool had welded the nut on to my rear axle. How in the world was I ever going to get it off. I called my guy at the local shop. Of curse he let me explain my whole delima while I was on the speaker phone. After he quit laughing he politely explained that I needed to go look on the other side that had the unwelded nut. 9 years, many dumb questions, and a few "uh oh's" later, I've about got it down.
