Its funny. I carry my gerber all the time @ work. I like how it gets more compact than my leatherman. I lent it to someone at work against my better judgement. I hate lending tools to people that don't carry their own. Well he broke the small common screwdriver. I never would have thought about sending it back for repair till this post! Thanks for the idea!

One of the handiest tools ever invented.I've had my Super Tool for who knows how long. I Was staying up in the fairgrounds in West Bend Wi. during the 105th last summer. One morning while in a portable toilet the leatherman slipped off my belt and sunk out of sight, sure wasn't going in after it and wrote it off as a loss.I left for Milwaukee about the time the guy came to empty the heads. One of the fine people camped next to me told the guy to keep an eye out for it. It was laying next to my tent wrapped in a baggie when I got back that night.Pitched the case and hosed it off at the car wash when I washed my bike the next morning.Just one of many fond memories of that trip.

+1 on Leatherman. Keep a miniature in my tour-pak. Have a 2.5" folding serrated knife also, really holds an edge, plus it has a bottle-top opener!

carried on for years. like the way it opens right up. i remember when it was new i hated it, took forever to break it in and get it loosened up.
