Default tail light harness diagram?

Finally got my Street Glide rear fascia and the tail light / signal bar / license plate assembly.

My Road Glide is still in storage - I love Wisconsin!

Does anyone have a wiring diagram on what gets plugged into the harness under the tail light assembly?

Any help would be appreciated.

Jay

PS - It's gonna snow - AGAIN - on Friday. This stinks!

Jayman, the diagram Dawg sent is for a bike with a fender tip light.

You will wire your new SG turn signal bar the same as indicated EXCEPT where the fender tip light connection is shown in the diagram, #3, you will plug in the connector for the LED's that light the license plate.

Also, the SG facia LED uses the TP harness. If you want to preserve the TP harness for lights on a TP, simply splice the SG LED wires to the license plate wires mentioned above. That's how my installation is wired for use of a King TP with Ultra light bar and spoiler LED.

Good luck with your project.

And you're right; DAWG is THE MAN.

Thanks Leo. Any king of connector that would work in lieu of the plug? I'm trying to power my led plate light and down want to splice into the taillight harness.

You can google deutsch and molex electrical connectors and find ones that work. However, it would be easier to simply go to the dealer and get the one that you need. They generally have them in stock and they aren't that much money.

Quick question (I hope)...

I just noticed last evening that my tri-bar light (on an '08 SG) was not lighting up. The turn signals both work, the license plate light, the brake lights all work as well.

Any thoughts on where to look next?

Thanks
