almost done...for this year
I got my bags and fender back and got it all put back on the bike. I originally put the stock SG tail light assymbly back on when I did the extended bags and it just never looked right. So Kirk at Sumax hooked me up with a set of tail lights that are like tail lights off a 39 ford so I sent my bags and rear fender back to the painter. Chris at Fox's Custom Paint simply rocks.
I also changed out the big chrome dash for a Fatbagger's low profile dash and a pop up gas cap and I put a set of Paul Yaffe afterburner tips on, they look wicked. I am pretty much done for this year other than changing out the bag latch covers and probably either making me a new seat or recovering this one. I am the world worst about not putting conditioner on a leather cover and the sun has played hell on this one. Here are a few pictures I just snapped on my cells camera so the quality is subpar but they aren't too bad.

Looks great. I would suggest bead blasting those detachable brackets and getting them painted or powder coated. I just remove mine and made it easy to do by notching the ends and then getting longer bolts. I then just have to remove the center bolt and loosen the two end ones and slip them on and off but it looks like you would have a gap there.

With the wide fender it has to be notched for them so if I were to take them off then there would be two slots there. It would look cleaner without them for sure but I want to keep the bike usable because its certainly no sit in the garage bike and look pretty only at bike nights, she is a work horse with a little bling added to make it mine Last year I fell short of my goal of atleast 12k miles by 1100, this year my goal is 15k which will get me to 37k on her.
