Default Nostalgic air cleaner cover question

Want to get a Nostalgic round a/c cover for my RK. I have been reading some threads about these and noticed people talking about one of the two the HD sells having a notch in them for a choke or something. Which one of these two will fit my bike with efi? Which one does NOT have the notch? 29136-91 or 29138-91

29136-91 is obsolete, you'd have to get the 29138-91. It will fit the round SE/K&N filters, but you will need to get gasket #29591-99 to go on top of the filter

I had that aircleaner on my 03 EFI, you do need the extra gasket.

Thanks dawg. I have the SE filter on my bike. Does the 29138-91 have that notch in it?

Why is the gasket necessary, I have the "notched" cover with a Ness 11 and there is no mention of a gasket in the instructions

Per H-D instructions, when the #29138-91 nostalgic cover is used on '99-later twin cam motors equipped with SE high flow air cleaners, gasket kit P/N 29591-99 is necessary. When I tried to install the cover without the extra gasket, the cover wobbled. With the extra gasket, it makes a nice, solid seal. The problem is the center of the nostalgic cover is concave and the SE air cleaner top is flat so they don't work well together. The thick extra gasket moves the cover out far enough so that the dished portion of the cover doesn't contact the flat surface on the air cleaner.

Folks were overtightening the bolt to make the cover snug and ending up breaking the cover at the bolt hole due to pressure.
